Geometric tolerance is the diversity of shape maximun allowable or perfect geometry of position. The term "geometry" refers to the diverse forms such as cone, cylinder, square. Theoretically, this forms a perfect shape, however, because it is not possible to produce perfect forms, then we need to determine the allowable diversity. Geometric tolerances determine the width of the tolerance zone where surface or the axis of the cylinder or holes should be used if the machine elements to meet accuracy.
