FORMS OF THREE DIMENSIONAL By Budi Maryanto , ST

Differences in AUTO CAD drawing two-dimensional to three -dimensional is to draw a two -dimensional AUTO CAD users are bound by the coordinates in the direction of the X axis and Y axis , while for three- dimensional drawing AUTO CAD users are bound by the coordinates in the direction of the X axis , Y axis and Z axis . Where penggguna AUTO CAD drawing of objects in space , not in the form of a flat field . AUTO CAD can display the coordinates of the Z-axis direction to declare the thickness of an object in space .
AUTO CAD is used to draw a three- dimensional shape has the appearance of an object in space , namely :
1 . Form of a wire frame
2 . Surface shape modeling
3 . solid shape

1 . Form of a wire frame

In the form of a wire frame display AUTO CAD shape resembles a transparent woven wire . Woven wire can be seen from the outside to the inside and the back side . In the woven wire to form a wire frame gives the boundaries of the object space is less clear , so to look at the object with the proper wire frame of this object is very difficult even AUTO CAD may confuse users when drawing a shape of an object in space .

2 . Surface shape modeling
Objects in space that appear in this form is easier to imagine than the form of wireframe , surface modeling because bentu more restricting many objects in space with a flat surface or curved area .

3 . solid shape
Solid shape is a shape similar to the shape of an object field of the real object . The boundaries of the solid form is very clear and easy to recognize .
